Dear CFR Little League Participant,

 

Welcome to our special registration edition of the CFR Newsletter. The purpose of this newsletter is to provide you with the information you need to register your child(ren) in CFR Little League this spring. Also, if you know of others who would enjoy playing ball this year please forward this newsletter along. One of our goals this year is to increase our enrolment and grow the league.  

 

Registration Dates and Locations

 

As some of you are aware, CFR had the first registration at Dovercourt Community Centre on March 6 (and we have the pictures to prove it). If you missed this date, don’t worry! We have 4 more opportunities to register. In fact, the next one is this Saturday. The dates are:

 

Dovercourt Community Centre (map)

Sat   March 20  10 AM - 4 PM

 

Carlingwood Shopping Centre  (map)

Sat   March 27   10 AM - 4 PM

 

Frank Ryan Park Clubhouse (map)

Tue   April 6     6PM-8PM
Wed  April 7     6PM-8PM 

 

If you are unable to make any of the above dates, please contact our registrar directly.

 

What Do I Need to Bring to Register

 

All you need to bring is the completed registration form, and a cheque or cash for the appropriate registration fee. In some cases proof of age may be necessary. So best to bring your child’s birth certificate for confirmation. Even if you forget your form, we’ll have an ample supply.

 

Always Looking for Volunteers

 

Registration means the season is growing closer. That means we also need to fill our coaching and umpiring positions with volunteers. When you register your child(ren) you can expect a member of our executive to ask you about volunteering. Whether it’s assistant coach, off-field manager, head coaching, or umpiring, we always welcome and greatly appreciate the help. In fact, the league would not work without your help and support.
